Sterling Crane - Contract Lifting Division provides a tailor made service for clients who require exceptionally heavy or complex lifting. The division can also provide firm bids for complete one-stop-shop project management which will get equipment hauled to site and set in position. From selection of the required transport and cranes, management of the Engineering input and interface with all relevant parties along the way, Sterling Crane takes the strain and risk away from their clients.

Procrane Engineering is Sterling Crane's engineering group which provides a full suite of engineering services for internal and external customers alike. One of the group’s major tasks is the production of engineered rigging studies where careful examination of the physical site, accurate determination of all site dimensions and the selection of the appropriate lifting/rigging equipment is undertaken. Scale drawings can then be produced showing proper placement of all relevant equipment and listing additional controls. Procrane Engineering utilizes AutoCAD as an aid in planning and designing lifts and produces rigging studies modeled in 3D to best demonstrate clearances, etc. Procrane Engineering also manages and undertakes Sterling Crane’s stringent equipment structural inspection program utilizing qualified in-house and third party inspectors.

Procrane Sales Inc. is the authorized distributor in Western Canada for cranes manufactured by Tadano, Kobelco and Broderson Manufacturing. Procrane Sales Inc. offers sales of new and used cranes as well as parts and service for all makes of mobile cranes.
